I find i have been doing allot of diagonal modeling lately and whilst align to last points position on x,y,z, its no good if you have a diagonal plane or such. I mean the plane is a normal oblong its just orientated in 3d space diagonally. Yes i could rotate it and then back but i have some buildings that are pretty poly heavy and rotating them all the time is a pain. Of course if we had some really good snap tools in modeler this would help.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14781934846893768224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1661818086472127182.post-25054231372107202562014-07-15T15:45:56.038-07:002014-07-15T15:45:56.038-07:00Not that I have seen.. Im curious how you decide where to position or is it simply to get it on the same vectors?Stephen Culleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08587937169144979785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1661818086472127182.post-7972458489569841692014-07-10T04:52:41.753-07:002014-07-10T04:52:41.753-07:00Steve do you know of a script which will allow me ...Steve do you know of a script which will allow me to align points based on the first and last selected points irrespective of XYZ.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14781934846893768224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1661818086472127182.post-28707707209429338612011-07-24T08:03:02.499-07:002011-07-24T08:03:02.499-07:00just deselect the axis you don't want. make su...just deselect the axis you don't want. make sure the first selected point is the point you want to align with, all other points selected after will then align with the first selected. Is this possible? Do I deselect the X, Y, and Z axis?DCJRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17636330882549285985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1661818086472127182.post-37684317465324188022011-07-19T23:42:06.450-07:002011-07-19T23:42:06.450-07:00Thanks so much! Thanks so much!DCJRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17636330882549285985noreply@blogger.com
